Summarize before replying

Before you answer a long message, ask AI to separate what was asked from what was only background.

The situation

A long email or chat can contain a question, a complaint, three side notes and a hidden deadline. If you reply too fast, you may answer the wrong part or miss the action.

Try this

"Summarize this message before I reply. Tell me: what they need from me, what is background, what is urgent, and what I should not forget to answer."

Make it easier

Ask AI to pull out the actual request before you write back. That makes the reply easier to start, easier to check and clearer for the person receiving it.
